Stranger things series 1 episode 1 synopsis
Lab assistant is killed by an unknown creature which escaped from its cell A group of friends (will, mike, Dustin and Lucas) game is cut short by their mum when they are told to go home while racing will separate from the others. When cycling next to the laboratory he feels like he’s being followed he sees a figure which causes him to swerve of the road into the dirt and fall of his bike the mysterious figure which follows him home continues to follow the boy then takes him Wills mum (Joyce) contacts the police discovering her son if missing Lab is being sealed off and contained after the last incident 6 men enter to do this they discover this thing sealed to the wall An unknown child wearing a gown with shaved hair shows up to a diner looking for food when discovered by the man he only discovers a number on her wrist 11 while he contacts the services to arrange a pickup she shuts of the fan using her mind The police find the missing boys bike and starts searching around for clues the police enter the forest searching for will The kids start piecing together things he did on the game and they go out on their bikes 11 is sitting on the desk when a woman from social services comes to get the girl but after the man notices some changes in her voice she pulls a gun on him and shoots him 11 runs at that point two men with guns block her escape with more entering the room she uses her telekinetic powers to clear her path so she could get away The 3 friends go off at night to where their friend went missing and go searching for clues Joyce and her eldest start blaming themselves for the loss of will while going through photos of him when the phone rings while Joyce answers it mysterious noises come through the phone thinking its will she starts shouting but an electric bolts travels through the phone and shocks her The 3 friends still searching for will hear a strange noise when they find 11 standing there in the rain I found the episode very intriguing as it had so much going on at once and the mystery aspect was really good.
