 different shot types from different genres



romance
this shot shows romance it reflects this genre as you can see she has made a heart with her hand and looking through it. from the extreme close up its easier to focus on those features. this shot reflects this genre well as you can clearly see what she's trying to show. however we could have just used facial features to make it clear with out an extra clues which would make it much better
spy
This genre is meant to show spy genre it reflects this genre in somewhat as you can see from the long shot and crab shot that the spy is mostly unseen by the camera looking through the lazerbeams.
horror
this shot was meant to show the horror genre and it reflects it well because of the the way the camera is positioned in a high angle. this is because it gives you the aspect of the unknown. this shot did well because of the way that we could cover up the person and place him in the middle of a wooded area to match the setting. however we could have moved the shot to a shady place wit more trees surrounding the person.



drama
This shot is meant to show drama it reflects this genre because you can see the they are discussing something. What went well with this shot is that it just fell into place so it wasn't to hard to capture the shot. However we could have made it look clearer to which genre it belongs to so they can clearly see what it is.
musical
This shot is meant to look like it belongs to a musical I believe it reflects this genre in some way as you can see that she is dancing while on her way to her destination. The shot did work well with this genre because we have got the posture right. However we could have worked better with the background as it may not fit to well with this genre.

guardians of the galaxy vol 2 in opening sequence you see the main protagonist fighting an evil monster while baby root dances around in the background.  the positioning of the camera throughout the opening sequence is from a far and using a shallow focus as your attention is mainly focusing on groot. the lighting in the scenes were really bright and it has a glow to show the object they are working around is not a normal thing. the acting in this scene was quite serious at some points where as the small character you focus on is messing around. the costumes are quite unique as there group is quite diverse and they are meant to be from different planets or mutated. the facial expressions are focused in their work except for groot who's dancing happily. the setting was really vibrant and the background goes into extreme detail. opening sequences and narrative theories

Guardians Of The Galaxy vol 2 I think this opening sequence follows parts of equilibrium and binary opposite theory the reason for this is that in the short clip we see everything is just normal ( in a way for them ) then it kicks off a bit which suggests they must have a resolution since they have the equilibrium and disruption. I also thought it was apart of binary opposites the reason for this is that they have the good and the bad coming together and fighting against each other.   The Dark Knight I believe the opening sequence follows the enigma code the reason i think this as in the scenes you don't really know what is going on and theres a lot of mystery surrounding it. Another thing is that there are little clues like when he takes of his mask and reveals who he is however you don't really know his plans and gist of what is going to happen next

J-cut-as he’s walking up the boat their scene starts playing before he reaches the top Shot reverse shot-the magic guy and the audience Jump cut-him up the stairs L-cut as he’s walking away you can hear the guy shouting him These are used to create the genre as they can be mysterious and they show some action movie hints as the robbery gives it away i think this clip follows the enigma code the reason for this is that you don't know much of what he is doing or going to do as we don't find out much in the scene.
